Despite their mutual disdain, the two must cooperate, largely because Mistress Death communicates exclusively with Deadpool, much to Thanos’s frustration and jealousy. This dynamic adds layers of humor and tension to their mission.
3. Marvel’s Rogues Gallery
The series will also feature appearances from some of Marvel’s most infamous villains. Seeley hints at a tour of Marvel’s darker side, including cameos from Dr. Doom, Mephisto, Blackheart, Black Talon, and other surprise characters.
“We’ll be taking a tour of Marvel bad guys in this series,” Seeley teases.
4. Artistic Flair
Artist Elmo Bondoc brings a unique visual style to the series, perfectly capturing the blend of dark and comedic elements. Seeley praises Bondoc’s work, noting his ability to handle both the cartoonish and twisted aspects of the story.
“It’s been pretty amazing,” Seeley says. “[Bondoc] has serious cartooning chops, while also being really adept at doing the dark and twisted stuff I throw at him. It’s a gorgeous book, and we’ve got Tradd ‘Damn’ Moore doing covers to boot!”
